DCN has chosen MARTEC to conduct an audit to prevent and deal with obsolescence

In an endeavour to introduce a global policy for preventing and dealing with obsolescence, DCN has chosen MARTEC to analyse DCN practice in a representative sample of its activities. This audit marks the first step in a process that will eventually lead to DCN defining an overall policy in the field of obsolescence.

MARTEC’s teams will travel to the DCN’s Brest, Indret, Lorient, Ruelle and Toulon establishments in order to meet those whose job it is to deal with the problems of obsolescence. This will involve, for example, visits to the “DCN Ingénierie” design offices and “DCN Services” workshops. The analysis report will be presented to DCN management in December.

MARTEC was awarded this contract by the DCN thanks to its widely-recognized technical experience in the field of systems continuity and its pragmatic approach to client requirements.

MARTEC has thus gained a first-class reference, introducing a highly innovative global approach, so far rarely implemented in the industry.
